Deda bars have ben sent back to shop. Arm rests felt very unstable to the point of being completely unusable. Have used vision bars in past which were miles better.

Summary:
These bars are a very nice piece of kit. They certainly look the business, they are light, solid and child's play to fit/adjust. But: I do think you have to ask yourself if they are really worth tiwce as much as DEDA's identical aluminium set. If you think heavier bars will ruin your steering then invest in these featherweight beauties. But if the bike's overall weight is your priority, then the difference between these and an aluminium (count the syllables...) set is negligible, although the price differential is big.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:
Expensive (price quoted is in GBP, not USD). Adhesive on foam pads isn't up to the job, as mentioned by another reviewer (and not just in hot and humid weather, mine came loose within months in Scotland!)

Summary:
Bought my first set in sydney for $400 (expensive) after looking at many different types and trying a friends syntace set. Have not looked back. These are the best Tri bars I have tried. I am 6'3" and the adjustability with these is great as no matter how narrow or wide you like your elbows and length from bars you can adjust it to accomidate your needs...Also they are very comfortable. I find I can stay down in them for most of my 40-90km races and feel very comfortable and aerodynamic... They also look great on my Trek 5200 and have just put some on my Cannondale Caad7 (much better deal in Singapore for $160)..

Strengths:
Comfortable, looks great, most adjustable aerobar I have ever seen, bought second set as I am so happy with first

None I have found for the past 18 months

Summary:
Absolutely great if you just want/need a clip-on for tri's or TT's. Not the cheapest but savings come in weight and aero efficiency. Because of the weight, you don't have to over compensate for the over steer produced by clip-ons. It also puts your arms closer together than other clips or bars forcing a more aero position. This can be a positive or negative depending on your riding style.

Strengths:
light weight (lightest "clip-on" on the market at 389g.) Keeps the arms in a tight aero position. Great carbon fibre look! Comfortable ergo handles. No need for any tape.

Weaknesses:
The only weakness in on the pads. The stick-on pads are not designed very well for adhesion in hot humid weather. I ride with them in SE Asia and after the first really long ride, the sweat and humidity dislodged them. I have resorted to gluing them on with better glue.
