CNT composite bar has incredible strength for its feathery weight. TaperWall technology places extra material at stress points and avoids excess material where it is not needed. Intelligent flexibility provides dampening where needed and stiffness where it is not. Ergonomic drops. Shortcut tops transition the bar shorter to the hoods for greater arm clearance when sprinting in the drops. Flat front of tops for cable routing. 31.8mm clamp. 205 grams (42cm; Measured Center to Center).
Strengths: This review is for the non-ergo bar. It has a medium-compact reach (75mm) and drop (130mm). I have a lot of these bars and really like them. The 44cm weighs 191 grams, the 42cm just under 190 grams. They absorb road vibration well and are stiff enough for me to pull on (although I am not a 200 lb sprinter!). They are comfortable on the hoods and in the drops. If you look around they can be found for about $100-150.
Weaknesses: Some say it flexes too much. I never found this to be the case. The trend is to go to an even shallower drop.
