Strengths: light
comfort
looks great
good priceWeaknesses: none so farBottom Line: i wanted these bars as an upgrade to the stock bars that came on my trek bike. They are super light and comfortable and absorb alot. i would recommend these bars to any cyclist thats looking for a light bar and a more comfortable ride.

Strengths: Good design.Weaknesses: Non-Existent Warranty. If this bar doesn't qualify for free replacement, then nothing does. The value rating and overall rating is low because no-one needs to spend $250 on a handlebar w/out a warranty. There are good bars available from company's that will stand behind their products. Don't take me as an Easton hater. I have lots of Easton products (stems, wheels, posts) but can't afford to drop this kind of change on products w/ no guarantees.Bottom Line: First off, this is a great bar. It comfortable and well designed. Stiffer/less damping than it's previous incarnation. It does measure narrower at the hoods than the sizes would lead you to believe as the drop outs angle out a few degrees. The bars are measured at the drops. A 42cm bar at the drops is really 40.5 at the hoods. I returned the first bar to get the next size up because the sizing is misleading. NOW THE IMPORTANT STUFF — THE WARRANTY... Easton claims a lifetime warranty. I decided I wanted to try a shaped bar w/ flat tops. When I unwrapped the bar I found a small crack on the bottom of the bar right where it bends from the tops into the drops. The bar has never been crashed. Easton called me to tell me that they could only offer me their "Crash Replacement" option which is 30% off of full retail. Not exactly a deal and if this doesn't qualify for a warranty replacement I'm not sure anything does. In my experience, Carbon self destructs when it breaks due to a crash impact. The bar had less than 600 miles on it since new. There is no other damage, not even bar tape residue. I spend most of my time riding off road. If this is how Easton deals w/ things then it will be the last product I buy from them. If I had sent it back in 2 pieces then I would understand. They even said that they haven't seen damage like this before. Sounds like a defect to me, but they seem to think that it's impossible that they had even one bar w/ a problem and that I must have crashed it. DON'T buy this bar or any other carbon product from them if you aren't willing to take your chances because they won't stand behind you if you have a problem.

Strengths: Above plus orange color.Weaknesses: None, zero, zip. Maybe a little pricey.Bottom Line: I would echo everything said so far in the other reviews. This is the best handlebar I have ever ridden. Why carbon? After doing a century over rough roads and brutal wind, now I know! Amazing damping quality, dramatically improved over my old alloy bar. Best bar. Buy it.

Strengths: Strenght, the different reaches.Bottom Line: Great bar for the price. The RD in which Easton has defined in this bar is great. The drops are quick to reach and are much smaller then other drops. The hood placement is great and the reach is mininal which allows you to be more upright during longer rides. If your style is the drop, you will like the reach from the hoods. If you are a sprinter there is no flex in the bars. I really bought this bar to dampen road bumps. This bar lives up to the hype.

Strengths: *comfortable, ergonomic design
*lightweight
*stiff
*attractive, classic looksWeaknesses: *no cable recessBottom Line: The EC90 SLX3 offers your hands an excellent range of comfortable positions. Even on long rides, the shallower reach combined with the curved drops have allowed me to ride in the drops as much as on the hoods. Reach to the brake levers is also improved compared with my old 3T anatomic bars. Top it off with stiffness and light weight, and these are great buy.
A few minor quibbles...
These bars have a very shallow cable recess along the front of the bar so you need to be a little more careful with routing.
No clear coated carbon weave (like Zipp) if you're into the bling factor. I prefer understated so I don't care...
If you use a two-bolt stem like a Thomson, be sure to torque the stem bolts as tightly to spec as possible. Despite the rough texture at the stem mounting area, the bars slipped a few degrees after landing a bunnyhop over a curb.
