Strengths: Stiff, lightWeaknesses: Weird shape. Coating scuffs very easily and is slippery. Company does not answer emails.Bottom Line: These handlebars are advertised as a cross between a traditional shape and an ergo shape. They also are re-inforced to allow use of aero bars which is a good feature for a carbon bar. These bars are a bit of a weird shape and I found that in the drops they didn't sweep back far enough, therefore you constantly felt that your hands were going to fall off the ends. I also could not get the levers in a comfortable position whereby you were comfortable on the hoods but could reach them adequately in the drops [shimano levers, maybe not a problem with campag]. The bars were stiff so not a problem there. I also found that as soon as you attempted to put aero bars on the coating peeled off immediately and they looked very second hand. Also, they were just too slippery to keep the aero bars in one place, which is probably a carbon thing. I attempted to contact Oval via email re these aspects with no reply.
