Strengths: Great looks, comfortable ride. Inexpensive.Weaknesses: Finish tends to crimp. (Maybe use a carbon stem?)Bottom Line: These base bars are comfortable and look great. Used them on a long ride and they absorbed road shock well - which is great considering the already uncomfortable riding position of a TT bike, which I use them on.
They are probably made out of some soft-ish carbon, so when I put on my 3T aluminum stem, they crimped (or at least the paint job did) at the intersecting points (never had this problem with my 3T Ergonova bars). The crimps don't affect the bars' performance, but do tend to look annoying.
Favorite Ride: A long, rolling ride - in the heat!
