Bike Setup:
Nashbar Cross frame/fork, Ultegra bar end shifters, XTR RD, Deore FD, Avid BB7 disc brakes

Summary:
So far so good! I built up a cross bike, and the first set of bars (Cinelli Solida) didn't work well with the bar ends. Because of the grooves I couldn't insert the shifters completely. This resulted in them loosening occasionally on rides. I also wasn't comfortable with the ergo drops.

I picked up the Nittos to remedy this situation, and because I was somewhat curious about the shape of the bars. I'm happy with them so far. The first thing I noticed is that I was comfortable in the drops, and actually wanted to spend time in them. The hood position, however, was strange initially. This is because they are not vertical, but angled with the flare. Once I adjusted, I felt it actually was a bit more ergonomic than standard bars.

In my very limited experience, these bars actually seem to provide a significant aero benefit. The width at the flares is just a hair larger than the bars they replaced, but at the hoods it's narrower (more aero). Also, being comfortable in the drops means I'm more likely to utilize this position.

Strengths:
Ergonomic shape
Comfort
Attractive etching

Quality

Weaknesses:
25.4 size. I have a four bolt stem, so I just clamped it down for the time being, but I may end up shimming with an aluminum can.
