I have a Brooks team professional, B17, B67, Champion Flyer and have switched to the Selle Anatomica (similar to B17 Imperial) for road race comfort. For my upright town/training bike, which weighs 45 lbs and has 44/32/22 chainrings for hill climbing, I needed something that could support my weight more efficiently (weighing in at 265 lbs). The B67 and Champion Flyer, although sprung, are way too stiff. The front of these saddles are not sprung, the leather is stiff and the coils stiffer - they are almost useless as suspended saddles. Finally, I decided to try the B135. I purchased a clamp adapter for mounting on the 'modern' micro-adjust seat posts, purchased 55mm x M5 hex bolts from McMaster-Carr, and put the saddle on my tank... I initially intended to ride for about 20 minutes the first day, but ended up riding for 2 hours. this is the most comfortable riding saddle I have ever ridden. I ride with this saddle now every day. This is THE MOST COMFORTABLE SADDLE I have ever ridden on. Unlike the B67, and Flyer, the leather has more give and is comfortable right out of the box. No more numbness, no more seat pain... with all the hype about road racing, it's a wonder people even cycle anymore. An upright posture with a 'real' suspended saddle is the only way to travel. Forget about the trend - it is designed to lure you into spending your money needlessly. Get this saddle, you will never ride another twiggy saddle again... Strengths: Supreme comfort - think 'royalty'... Weaknesses: Looks goofy, but hey, WHO CARES!! Similar Products Used: Brooks B67, Champion Flyer
