The B135 is one of our most suspended models, featuring double rear coil springs and a double loop front spring. The seating comfort is granted by the leather top.

Surly Long Haul Trucker, Shimano Deore XT 44/32/22 crank and F/R derailleur, Sram Attack shifters on upright cruiser bar, Chris King headset, Paul Brakes, Paul Cross-top brakes (the BEST), Phil Wood 48h hubs, Velocity Dyad rims, Schwalbe Marathon XR 700x50 tires, FSA SL-220 seat post, Brooks B135 saddle, DiNotte LED & Lupine Wilma 8 LED lighting, Tubus rear rack

Summary:
I have tried over 60 saddles on the market, and have come to the conclusion that leather is the only way to go. I have a Brooks team professional, B17, B67, Champion Flyer and have switched to the Selle Anatomica (similar to B17 Imperial) for road race comfort. For my upright town/training bike, which weighs 45 lbs and has 44/32/22 chainrings for hill climbing, I needed something that could support my weight more efficiently (weighing in at 265 lbs). The B67 and Champion Flyer, although sprung, are way too stiff. The front of these saddles are not sprung, the leather is stiff and the coils stiffer - they are almost useless as suspended saddles. Finally, I decided to try the B135. I purchased a clamp adapter for mounting on the 'modern' micro-adjust seat posts, purchased 55mm x M5 hex bolts from McMaster-Carr, and put the saddle on my tank... I initially intended to ride for about 20 minutes the first day, but ended up riding for 2 hours. this is the most comfortable riding saddle I have ever ridden. I ride with this saddle now every day. This is THE MOST COMFORTABLE SADDLE I have ever ridden on. Unlike the B67, and Flyer, the leather has more give and is comfortable right out of the box. No more numbness, no more seat pain... with all the hype about road racing, it's a wonder people even cycle anymore. An upright posture with a 'real' suspended saddle is the only way to travel. Forget about the trend - it is designed to lure you into spending your money needlessly. Get this saddle, you will never ride another twiggy saddle again...

Strengths:
Supreme comfort - think 'royalty'...

Weaknesses:
Looks goofy, but hey, WHO CARES!!
