Strengths: The fact that there is no single sweet spot but instead nothing to inhibit small changes in pressure points.
Long tapered nose
Vast rail adjustment
Balance of weight to long ride ejoyment
Forget it is there
Came with matching bar tape
Attention getting stylingWeaknesses: Oversized fizik logo on both sides of saddle
Begs for high amount of adjustment to function at capabilities
Bottom Line: This is the first nice saddle I have ever purchased. The tag says this is an Arione titanium Barlow world team edition. Having spent years graduating up to a road bike again, by way of everything but a recumbent, I could tell this saddle was going to be comfortable for me. I guess at this point I should point out that the fact it lacked cut-outs in the rear or center was a noticeable draw. It is impractical to leave any body part stationary while pivoting around it, such as a wrist while typing for an extended period, without lifting it from the point of pressure and stretching. I am not of the mind that the harder edges around the missing material do anything but remove subtle adjustment options. That is possibly my favorite thing about this saddle. The arione was a vast improvement in weight and comfort over the saddle I had been using. With only about 400 miles on it I felt compelled to write this. The thrill of getting it nearly half price helped.
