Strengths:    Keeps things that shouldn't be going numb from going numb, and really thats all it had to do to get a 5 from me. It looks nice and is light as well.

Weaknesses:    The rails on mine were not flat and level as they were on the Arione, there was a bow between the 2 major bends. This complicated getting the proper angle during setup. Also rails are not nearly as long as those on the Arione, which necessitated a new seatpost.

Bottom Line:
When I first installed it, it felt like I was riding a concrete block, but as we have broken in, it's become much more comfortable. It really focuses weight on the sit bones but it does seem to take care of numbness.

Strengths:    no break in perion. The price is very reassonable. Weigth is a plus. It is lighter than my alliante.

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
This is one of the best saddles I ever tried. This saddle is right up there with my $200 Fizik Alliante saddle. The first time I rode this saddle I loved it. There is no break in period and best of all there is no numbness is the region it was meant to protect. Even with my Alliant I do feel a little sore after a long ride, but with this saddle I do not feel any thing. This saddle suite me very well. I have tried the Selle Italia transam with the cut in the middle , but found that there was a lot of pressure on the region it was meant to protect.

Strengths:    Excellent for training or racing. Light weight, modest cost, looks great, durable.

Weaknesses:    None yet

Bottom Line:
After getting the block of wood off the seatpost that came with my bike, I went in search of a comfortable, light weight, durable, and not to expensive seat. My local bike shop,(Hawleys)lets one try/rent assorted seats for $5.00 and then applies the rental fee towards the purchase of a seat. The San Marco Seat is light and very comfortable because of the design which prevents sore spots from developing. I do century rides on a regular bases and average between 160-200 miles per week and have had no discomfort issues with the seat. The narrow front part of the seat allows your legs more inward movement when your applying maximun peddle power and the rear part of seat keeps your butt in place.

Strengths:    Anatomical design, light weight, sleek style.

Weaknesses:    None that I can find

Bottom Line:
I needed a prostate-friendly saddle. I liked the design of the Aspide Arrowhead--both anatomically and style-wise.
After the first ride I was very pleased. This saddle is very comfortable and I felt absolutely no pressure on my perinium which meant my prostate was happy. And to top if off my bike looks much cooler now!

Strengths:    Stiff and comfortable

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
Was slightly skeptical at the beginning because it seemed too hard to be comfortable. After a few months of usage, I no longer move my rear around trying to dissipate pain during long rides. Fits me perfectly.
