Price Paid:  $25.00 at ebay

Favorite Ride:
Cannondale

Summary:
I picked this up for my second bike and its a comfortable, well made saddle because it was Toppeak and I've had good luck with their other stuff. At $25 on ebay, it was a bargain. For a racing style saddle, it pretty comfortable

Strengths:
Excellent build quality, very comfortable. Comes with Topeaks saddle bag clip built in!

Weaknesses:
This saddle features a scoop and insert underneath the nose that, in theory, should redirect a flow of cool air over around your privates. It would work wonderfully under 2 conditions. 1.) If you could consistently ride around 60mph and 2.) you were riding without any shorts (going commando).

While a neat idea, this saddle simply doesn't cool any more effectively than my other split/open saddle. I actually think it would cool more effectively without the scoop and directional rubber.

Don't let that discourage you though if you are looking for a good, inexpensive saddle, this one does nicely.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Bought a BioLink saddle about six months ago to replace the one that came on my Fisher Tassahara (mountain). The shape of the BioLink was immediately more to my liking: narrow and much easier to slide behind and remount. The padding is firm with a deep and wide valley down the middle to alleviate pressure and allow some air flow. Did I mention the air scoop below? Gathers a breeze to blow through that valley (the "Inter-Cool"). Interesting. I found the materials and finish to be of very good quality for a $50 seat. In fact, I liked it so much, I replaced the Selle San Marco, that was supplied with my Trek 2200 (road), with the wider BioLink "sports" version. Good product. ****

Strengths:
Price. Quality. Design. Accepts Topeak quick-release bags if you desire.

Weaknesses:
Scoop makes it difficult to balance bike on back of neck.
