Price Paid:  $79.00 at Moonsaddle.com

Favorite Ride:
Moonsaddle

Bike Setup:
Stock specialized tricross.

Summary:
I purchased the moonsaddle in an effort to remove the chance that my 150 miles a week riding would cause me long term problems. I replaced the specialized seat the came on my tri-cross bike.
My first experience was less than good. I had two pair of shorts on, one of which was padded. I was not convinced I could ride without the padding. Needless to say I kept sliping off the seat. I made adjustments to try and combat this problem. The adjustments made the ride managable but I needed help. I went to my local bike store and found they had experience with this seat. They made the adjustments and I was HAPPY. I rode 60 miles with no padded shorts (no pain or numbness).

Strengths:
Works as advertised. Allows the rider to hold any parte of the handlebars for as long as they wish. Removes the need for padded shorts. The seats shape allows for good seated torque.

Weaknesses:
The packaged instructions are not good, but when are they. The industries general lack of knowledge about the seat and the proper fitting. Less stable when sitting and removing both hands from handle bars.

Favorite Ride:
Bianchi

Summary:
MoonSaddle does what it is designed to do. I have no more pain or numbness when I ride. It is a great seat and I recommend it!

Strengths:
Eliminates pressure, pain and numbness.

Weaknesses:
Was hard to mount at the correct angle until I replaced my seat post, but they are coming out with a new rail system that is supposed to fix that.
