at LBS Favorite Ride: climbing anyone? Bike Setup: Yaqui Mariola 59cm with DuraAce/Ultegra Blend, Hed Wheelset (3D, Alps Tubular), All Syntace Aero Steering. Summary: I put this saddle on my TT bike, as I'm always looking for something to quell the inevitable numbness of the race of truth. Immediately, I noticed the lightness of the saddle, as well as the gel insert which, unlike many of its competitors, is quite solid, so it doesn't break down, leaving you to ride on the Ti rails. This is a good saddle and I will keep it on my TT bike, though I think it will work really well for those of you who aren't going to shift a lot of weight to the nose of the saddle. While I do still experience some numbness, it's nowhere near as bad as I've had with other saddles that claim to be designed for the TT. All in all, it's a good product that's light, and if you pay retail, it won't cost you nearly as much as the big name companies, and you get a better ride. Strengths: gel insert. slight flex in the middle of the saddle. lightness. cost. Weaknesses: Although it's good, for my purposes (TT), it could use a bit more padding in the front 1/4 of the saddle.
