Strengths:    Light weight, easily adjustable.

Weaknesses:    Did you see how much that thing costs

Bottom Line:   
It does hold my seat to my bike just fine. I like that you can get your seat at just the angle you want it, instead of hoping the right angle lines up with the grooves already on the stem. This seat post won't make your ride incredibly plush or stiffer on a climb. No magical fix for a lousy bike or poor riding ability, but it is capable of holding your seat in the right place. Buy it. Or maybe get a couple.
