Strengths: Infinite operational finesse.Bottom Line: New 2011 11 speed Chorus blows away all other shifts used before (see similar products used).
Great mechanical feel, levers are positioned slightly closer to the ergo drops and are perfect for mid sized hands without need for adapter to position them further away.
Proper ball bearing mechanism is back, and is so much better than the bushing-based Centaur mech.
Dumping multiple gears at a time as well as quick jumps on upshifts are incredible features, and the ease of operation when doing so eclipses all other designs.
Trimming the chainset is fantastic. Whereas SRAM Force trims the outside ring by a click or so, these shifters trim ANY rim as MANY times as you need either way. Absolutely genius.
Similar Products Used: SRAM FORCE, Centaur 10 speed, Dura Ace 7700, Ultegra, Veloce.
