Strengths: Mindless shifting. Smooth. Very precise. Shift equally well from both being on the hoods and in the drops. Carbon feels great on the hands; feels sort of like wood, in a good way.Weaknesses: The upshift buttons get a little sticky after two years of hard use. I actually had to lubricate them.
RD is a little touchy, however. But that's another part. :-)Bottom Line: Best shifting I've ever experienced. I like the fact that the brake levers don't ride inward with a shift, a'la Shimano. LOVE the upshift buttons on the inside.

Strengths: Better thought out design over shimano's
More Euro-Weaknesses: Cost, Possibly harder to get?Bottom Line: Pieces of art!
They work well too.
What else could you
want? You get what you pay for.
