Strengths: Convenient shifting and braking.Weaknesses: Crappy durability and support (unless "we'll help you find a dealer where you can buy an new one" is good support.)Bottom Line: Came on a tandem. Had problems early but they seemed resolved. After warranty expired, problems with right shifter reappeared. Offered to pay to have shifters serviced but Shimano says I have to buy a new one and there's nothing they can do. Less than 1000 miles as kids intervened from bike purchase until today. Crappy product and service. Even if this isn't the exact model you have know that Shimano will not help you.
Purchased At: Cycleworks OEM
Similar Products Used: Other STI shifters on my other road bikes. Ultegra and 105.

Strengths: Works well on the long run.Weaknesses: Some scars grew bigger after the crashes, but who cares.Bottom Line: I've crashed these. Direct hit on concrete. Twice. Still works perfectly. Period.
