Strengths:    Great operation
Feeling the shift
Very light

Weaknesses:    Price jump

Bottom Line:
I prefer any SRAM road drivetrain over Shimano or Campagnolo because I like to 'feel' the shift instead of not even feel a click. The Force shifters accomplish this just fine but I've put the value at only 3/5 because I have extensive experience with Apex and Rival and don't notice much difference at all. I don't think it's any more reliable mechanically or in operation, just much lighter. I wouldn't upgrade to Force if you already have a SRAM drivetrain. If you do have SRAM and want to upgrade, go to Red!

I bought a Redline Conquest Team frame, but am having major problems with the rear shifting. When I get to the big cogs, the effort needed to shift ramps up way too high. The front is fine though. I am running old 10 speed Sram Rival that worked perfectly on my old bike. The bike features full ca ... Read More »

It seems like all the information ... Read More »

I had a choice between sram and shimano, bike store was explaining sram, why it was better, i had poor experience with low end shimano in the past and wasn't feeling good about them, though 105 is a good set i think. anyway, i fig ... Here are the specs: Frame- E5 alloy frame with integrated headset, oversized head tube (1 1/8 - 1 1/2) and internal cable routing (2 ... Read More »

There was no crank set, BB, chain or cassette. I'm not very familiar wih SRAM road bike components and haven't had much ... Read More »
