Strengths: Style, the fact it is quill, silver, and has a removable faceplate.Bottom Line: I am not a weight weenie and I don't believe that stems play that big of a role in the performance or comfort of a bike as long as it puts the handlebars where you want them. I climb hard and descend fast and do not notice any flex in the stem. It does not creek or make noise and has yet to fail. It does everything a stem is suppose to.

Strengths: Looks, PriceWeaknesses: Weight, Reliability?Bottom Line: Purchased the 130, and nearly gagged upon opening the box as the profile makes it look enormous. Looks pretty trick and offers plenty of resistance when sprinting for the city limit sign or climbing. Not light, but functional for the price. Have had some difficulty with bars slipping down slightly. Twice I have had them rotate downwards 5-7 degrees or so, but no further. I am considering using an aluminum shim and loctite to prevent any further shifts.

Price Paid:
$39.00
