at ITM Favorite Ride: Any Ride/Race Bike Setup: Colnago Tecnos frame with a chrome plated steel Precisa fork, Campy Record 9-speed group (full), Mav Summary: Good stem. Nice, attractive design. If you prefer a classic seat position on your bike (with a bar drop about a 50 - 70 mm from the saddle level), this stem may be for you.
I'm 44 years old with about a 185 lbs and have not any problems during a spurt even on a hard concrete Russian roads with a 120 psi in tyres. A little flexibility is a part of design and protect your hands from vibration at the long time riding.
Also Special Thanks to Mrs. Sandra Sartori
(ITM, Italy) for help to send the items to me. Strengths: See above. A nice scale to easy remember a stem hight.Resonable stiffness/flexibility ratio. I think also, it may be a good choice for a rec riders. Stem was used by some racers at the 1999 - 2000 in TDF. Weaknesses: May be weight. But not for me.
Plastic Cap is soft. Similar Products Used: Old Russian steel stems.
