Strengths:    The stems are stiff, well built and the finish and style is second to none. The alloy clamp plates are excellent and be safely torqued to recommended tension (5 Nm)

Weaknesses:    I had one with a red carbon fibre clamp which failed after 800/900km of light riding - i use a torque wrench to tension the bolts...... the alloy (grey) clamp plates are excellent.

Bottom Line:   
Excellent Stems, Carbon clamps failed before 1000km. Alloy clamp is superior.

This is a review for the Oval R900 carbon stem of which I have used 3 in different lengths 70mm 90mm and 100mm all of them 31.8mm clamp size
