Favorite Ride:
Molas and Wolf Creek Pass areas

Bike Setup:
Cannondale CAAD3 Ultegra, Spinergys
Specialized Carbon Comp Ultegra,Open Pro's

Summary:
I actually bought mine thru Nashbar but
Kalloy Uno is what the Forte' really is.

I like threadless stems on mtn bikes for strength
and simplicity but threaded versions are great
for road bikes. You can adjust height easily and
the weight is only 2 onces more than a threadless
setup.

The front clamp is an idea from mtn design and this
makes handlebar and STI lever removal so easy.
Be sure to grease the clamp area to prevent creaking
noises.

Profile has a similar design and weight but costs
much more. This stem works fine enough to prevent
me from going threadless.Don't even worry about
the weight,it's quite acceptable and miniscule.
works good,thats all.

Strengths:
No flex,reasonably light,front clamp makes
handlebar removal easy.
Can set height adjustment as opposed to threadless.

Weaknesses:
Some creaking on the clamp area, need to
apply grease.
