A road version of our super-strong mountain stem. 6061 T6 cold forged aluminum, a two-bolt front clamp, and smaller, diamond cross section reduce weight. Recessed rear bolts and machined clamp help prevent knee diggers. Accepts standard Ø26.0 mm road bars. Black only. 155 grams.

Strengths: It *is* stiff, not very expensive, not very heavy
Weaknesses: Two-bolt clamp. Have to really grrr it down to keep bars from slipping
Bottom Line:
Decent stem. The clamp bolts stripped the first time I tried installing it, with -very- little torque. The replacement stem was fine. I have had the bars slip during on a rough course. I had to really tighten the bolts down way more than I'm really comfortable with.
