Strengths: Lightweight, looks stylish, single-piece cap with four bolts, and two bolts for the steer-tubeWeaknesses: AL2014, but for $10 plus $6 shipping...Bottom Line: Bought the Sette Aeon (white, 130mm, 1 1/8", 31.8, AL2014) despite 2wheel2's scary review. It was just too inexpensive to pass up for an experimental installation. So far it looks like the experiment worked and I will be leaving this on the bike.
It's possible that now, a year later, Sette has changed the design, or maybe it's that this is the 1 1/8" version instead of the 1" road version (there's two bolts on the steer-tube clamp instead of one as in the picture), but unlike 2wheel2's experience, it seems to be of decent quality and there were no problems with fitting it over my carbon steer-tube.
Keep in mind though that as only a 1000 mile/year rider, I may not be as discerning as some riders. For instance, AL6061 would have been a better material choice, but AL2014 is fine for my purposes.
With a 10 deg rake, it can be mounted upside down to give the handlebars some height. I may do this, but my only complaint so far is that the lettering would then be upside down. Boo hoo.
Didn't weight it before putting it on, but it was lighter than the 105mm NVO Components TM-3 stem it replaced.

Strengths: Low price, high strengthWeaknesses: Cost of shipping, always wonder about 2 bolt plates to hold the bars but no failuresBottom Line: I have several of these stems on my bike and have had no problems. They are basic stems but all a stem has to do is holds the bars in place. If you are a weight weenie looke else where, these run heavier than pricey stems.

Strengths: Cheap, but the 14.99 advertised price becomes 23 after all extra fees.
Weight was essentially the 150g advertised, but probably just for the smallest size.Weaknesses: It did not fit! Major pain requiring manual removal of all paint in the steerer clamp area.Bottom Line: This review is for the "Sette Aeon 2014 O/S Road Stem 31.8 10D"
Warning, do not jump into a purchase of this one! I was looking for an in-expensive stem because I wasn't sure if I knew the correct length and figured I'd experiment for cheap. You really get what you pay for here. There was dirt on the stem before they painted it and they painted right over it. No torque specs are included. Worst yet, it didn't come close to fitting the steerer ... WAY under-sized and much work was needed to remove the paint inside to make it fit. At first I forced it half way on and it looked like it might damage the carbon steerer tube getting it off. Trashing a carbon fork is NOT a way to save money.
Hint: if you get the stem stuck on your fork, insert the screws part way in from the OPPOSITE side, place a washer in the split and turn the screws into the washer to pry the stem open. Good luck.
By the way, the clamp height is actually 40mm and not the 37mm they suggest.
They actually had the gaul to advertise it as “built to strict specifications for discerning riders”.
