The bottom bracket came with a new bike. It only has about 1000 kms on it and started to show signs of wear(looseness, creaking, etc...). I don't know if mine is an isolated case, but I will be replacing it with a Campy Centaur unit. Strengths:
strong solid axle, smooth bearings(for a while), maintenance-free. Weaknesses:
