I took the plunge on my latest build. Record 10/Tarmac ProSL2.
The kit supplies everything necessary. Completely sealed/lined cable set, much like nokon.
Links snap together easily and look very nice. Noticeable improvement of gear change performance, requiring less effort at lever/finger to execute shifts, which seem quicker and more direct. It feels like the derailleur is only inches away from the shifter.
Braking performance is improved, likely due to lack of cable housing compression. Modulating the brakes is noticeably enhanced. When stopping hard, there's a heightened feel for the limit of traction, allowing you to quickly and gently release the lever just before the tire locks. This has greatly enhanced confidence in braking harder/later in corners, without fear locking the rear, and ESPECIALLY giving you the feel of the limit so the front doesn't wash out.
I've been touting this product ever since installing it, and can't say enough about it.
This could be my favorite cycling related product to come along in a while. When housings compress, performance is lost. It occurs on both shifting and braking. It just makes sense. I'm very impressed with them and couldn't recommend them more. They will NOT dissappoint. Strengths: Zero cable compression/deformation. Braking power/feel/modulation. Lightweight. Easy to install. Shifting performance is quicker, snappier, lighter, more direct. Zero cable stretch since original installation, over 700 hard ridden miles.
Aesthetically, very pleasing... color selection. Weaknesses: limited dealer/distributors. No "word" out there, touting an excellent product. Why?
