Product Description

A large amount of credit is due to the Record cables and housing. Record cables are stainless-steel without any sort of surface treatment, the housing is lubricated with special grease. Campagnolo extensively tested Teflon and found that it did not provide adequate durability.

Weaknesses:    the MSRP: argh

Bottom Line:   
I think these are the best cables overall for Campy shifters. they're so smooth. there's really no need for teflon coating, ime it just rubs off. stainless steel is probably the best and most durable. in terms of value, though, I have to say that QBP makes darn good stainless cables.
