Strengths:    Less expensive
Works just fine

Weaknesses:    slightly more noisy on my 'cross bike, not sure the cause yet

Bottom Line:
I needed a cassette to upgrade our tandem to 10 speed (from 7). I thought why not give it a try, at about 2/3 the price. I have not had any trouble with it at all after a dozen or so rides on the tandam.
I also got one to make my cyclo-cross bike more road-friendly with gear ratios. I have given it a few rides including hard efforts and it seems to work nearly as well as the original Shimano cassette.

This will be my first road bike and can't decide if it's worth springing more for the CF frame. Any input from people that own eith ... Read More »

Mavic 9 spd freehub comp. w/ 10 spd??

Just a quick one here. I've got a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elites that I've been running a 9 speed shimano cassette on for the last few years. I purchased an 07 Roubaix, which is 10 speed, and am looking at getting a cross bike which will possibly be 10 speed. I'd like to have the ability to use these w ... Read More »
