Favorite Ride:
GT GTR (rival)

Summary:
What can I say. It is another cost svers for manufactures put on there bikes. Cheap

Strengths:
Cheap. Readliy availabe online for $10-$15 -in the shop you know how much it cost.

Weaknesses:
Makes alot of noise. Can cause damage to your group if not careful with shifting.

Similar Products Used:
SRAM 1070- Much better chain-not as noisy and shift smoother.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Bike Setup:
Rocky Mountain Solo 30AC with 105 components.

Summary:
Worked fine for 2200km, then was stretched out...but what can you expect?

Strengths:
Affordable

Weaknesses:
Is this where I say something witty about a chain is only as strong as the weakest link?

Price Paid:  $0.00 at with bike

Favorite Ride:
all over the midwest

Bike Setup:
Today, just now, the last of the horrible 105 derailleurs, chain, cassette, etc. . system is gone and I can finally shift gears.
I kept the fantastic 105 shifters.

Summary:
Its a chain with a rather ugly brown coloring, high resistance to shifting on the front and not so smooth on the back either.

Strengths:
Its actually a strong chain. Strength is the extent of its talents.
When removing it so that I could put it in the trash (with its peers), the horrid thing did manage to challenge the strength of a Park chain tool.
Maybe its good for a lightweight fixie?

Weaknesses:
Just don't plan on shifting unless you buy the R700 crankset or any full size Shimano double-ring crankset.
Causes rather horrible shifting due to the lack of refinements on the side plates.
Causes expenses.
Causes damage.
Causes cursing when trying to shift.
After 5 days of frustration I was seeing red. . . in exactly the color of SRAM Red. If Shimano keeps this up, they can kiss their market share goodbye.

Similar Products Used:
Ultegra chain (somewhat better shifting)
SRAM chain (much better shifting)
