Strengths: Slightly better shifting and quieter than the 6600 or DA7801.Weaknesses: Durability. It's more expensive and it just doesn't last.Bottom Line: I agree with the other reviewers that this chain is quieter and shifts smoother than the 6600. However, I've gotten 2 of these over a 3 month period and both corroded too easily. The first chain I cleaned/lubed regularly but it began to rust. Maybe my 1st chain came from a bad batch so I decided to try another, mostly because of the improved shifting and quietness. I've had the 2nd chain for 1 month (about 800mi) and I've cleaned/lubed it more than the usual. It too has started to rust. Needless to say, the new 6700 chain just doesn't last. There is a slight improvement in quietness and shifting over the 6600 and DA7801, but the longevity just isn't there. Given the increased price, I expected more. Maybe it's time to try SRAM.

Strengths: light (?) SmoothWeaknesses: ticking noiseBottom Line: So, I like it. It was a huge improvement over my gunked up SRAM chain, and was sooo smooth. However, it is slightly noisy. The chain has a slight tick to it, not terribly loud, just annoying
