at online Favorite Ride: Mt. Tam Bike Setup: Raleigh team 15lbs SRAM mix Summary: Average chain that is sold as SRAM's top product, chain used on Red Crank and Force shifters, if you can get it for less than 50$ it is a fair deal. Mine had enough stretch after 2000 miles. I would not recommend this chain as it is too expensive for what it does. Shifting is average especially front shifting suffers (saw great improvement after changing chain). Sometimes less weight does not translate into better performance. I changed to Sram's cheapest chain 1030 that is blasting 28grams heavier but shifts much better in the front (chain drops stopped suddenly). Strengths: light, like the power link connector Weaknesses: loud, limited lifetime due to fast stretch Similar Products Used: Shimano Dura Ace 7700 (awsome chain), Shimano 5600 (decent chain)
