Strengths:    Looks great.
Reusable master link.
light weight
Smooth running, quick shifting
Claimed wear is more than double that of the SRAM chains. This is really why I bought it, as I got it for a price much less than double what a 1090 chain would have cost. We will see..

Weaknesses:    Pricy - but if you look online (especially in Europe) you can get this one for less than $70 right now.

Bottom Line:
I just put this on as a replacement for my SRAM 1090 that was wearing to about 1% stretch. The cassette is still the old 1070 and it's got about 60% life remaining.

So far so good - chain is beautiful and smooth, no engagement or shifting issues at all. It's quick and the real test will be its durability which remains to be seen.

Is this a Connex 10S1 link?

I ordered a bunch of these from Performance Bike.. The pics online show a link with '10S1' stamped on them. The links that arrived have '10 speed' stamped on them..    Read More »
