Price Paid:  $400.00 at ebay

Favorite Ride:
anywhere

Bike Setup:
Redline Conquest Team with ultegra drive train, xtr v-brakes, easton ea90 sl wheels, easton stem, deda bar/seatpost.

Summary:
I have had these cranks and bb for no more than 200 miles and they failed horribly. The drive side spun out of the cromolly connector and splintered the right crank arm. I am inclined to belive that this was a defect and not representative of Easton's products. I have had great luck with plenty of their stuff. This happend today on a sunday so I will see how their warrenty deparrtment is tomorrow. I am bigger tahn average for a cylist 6' 235, but no max weight was given.

Strengths:
Light weight andd stiff.

Weaknesses:
Breakage

Similar Products Used:
Various carbon and aluminum mtb and road cranks.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Bike Setup:
Specialized Tarmac SL PRO frame Easton EC90 crankset and bars, Roval wheels.

Summary:
Great Crankset, light and no flex at all. My only complaint with it are the ramps (or lack there of) on the large chain ring. After dropping the chain a number of times and even racing a hilly Crit in the 53 I finally swapped the Large ring out for my old FSA with 3000 miles on it and it shifts like a dream.

Strengths:
Weight, looks, stiffness..

Weaknesses:
Large Chain Ring, maybe price but you get what you pay for and I feel this crank was worth every dime.

Similar Products Used:
FSA SLK

I got these as an upgrade for my bike. Installation was easy as it goes, just bolted them on, no adjustments needed. These cranks are light and stiff. I've ridden about 100 miles on them and havent detected any flex or noises. The arms (175mm) are pretty beefy.

Price Paid:  $600.00 at Winn's Wheels

Favorite Ride:
UP westlake, Down Mulholland, Up Encinal

Bike Setup:
2008 BMC pro machine with full campy carbon record. Zipp 303's, Easton stem and EC 90 carbon bars.

Summary:
On top of looking as cool as they do, these are very stiff so the power transfer is complete. Plus, the weight saving is a big plus. With the ceramic BB I felt a huge difference from the Shimano 7800 crank set. I love these cranks.

Strengths:
Stiff, light and as sweet looking as is available.

Weaknesses:
None.

Similar Products Used:
7800 on my other road bike and TT bike.
