Bike Setup:
very high end, all three of them have dura ace shifters, frames are either aluminum or carbon and aluminum Just look at my other reviews...

Summary:
First, let me start by saying that my price included a titanium bottom bracket. Sam from GreenFish stated that if I broke the TI ISIS bottom bracket, it would be after I broke both of the crank arms! That sold me on the TI bracket, and after 25,000 miles, it is STILL GOING STRONG! So are these cranks!

I transferred these to my TT bike after buying the SLK Mega Exo for my main distance racing bike, and I am not sure that I made the right decision since I broke the crank arm of the SLK's after I turned the bearings to powder! So, These are durable, and able to withstand the pounding from me! How awesome is THAT?

Strengths:
Solid and Durable... If you can still find them I recommend these over any of the new cranks offered.

Weaknesses:
NONE WHATSOEVER!

Price Paid:  $219.00 at Performancebike.com

Favorite Ride:
Rt-424/50 Park & Ride

Bike Setup:
1998 Independent Fabrication Crown Jewel w/Dura Ace 9speed, D/A-Openpro and Neuvation M28 Aero wheelsets

Summary:
Excellent crank. I upgraded my whole bike from 8sp Dura Ace to 9sp Dura Ace execpt for the cranks. I noticed the difference in stiffness from the old 7400 as soon as i got to the very first climb. I got the crank on closeout sale from Performance and bought a Truativ GigaPipe ISIS BB also. I read other reviews saying its no stiffer than new D/A, but i dont like the looks of the new 7800 crank. However its way stiffer than the the old 7400 D/A crank it replaced. The FSA carbon cranks looks sweet on my red to black fade IF.
I recently took a spill on the IF that will require a tear down and repaint. I plan to install a K-Force Mega Exo crank and BB when i get it back, but I will put this crank on my back up ride, an old Trek 2100.

Strengths:
Stiff, Stiff and Stiff.

Weaknesses:
Crank arm fixing bolts needed to be retorqued after a few hundred mile. Over a weeks time, the drive side bolt backed out enough to unseated the crankarm slightly and cause a bad chainline and rubbing in all gears. Easy fix and all is normal again

Price Paid:  $0.00

Bike Setup:
2006 Cannondale CAAD8 Aluminum, all-carbon fork, Campy Record 10 sp carbon gruppo, FSA stem + bars, FSA Carbon Team Issue cranks, Time RXS Carbon Pedals, Cannondale Wind Carbon seatpost

Summary:
Awesome-looking, stiff, smooth-shifting crankset. No problems yet. Came off Dura-Ace 7800 cranks and I don't notice any different in stiffness. Not sure what all the Dura-Ace 7800 crank reviewers are talking about (how stiff DA is compared to FSA).

Strengths:
Value, looks, performance. These are great cranks all around.

Weaknesses:
None yet. I guess the ISIS BB is somewhat old skool and - in most cases - heavier than the new, outboard bearing BB designs, but these cranks came w/the bike and I can't find anything wrong with them or a reason I wouldn't buy/use them again. The only potential downfall IMO might be that, b/c they are no longer in production, and b/c of the older ISIS BB design, resale might be an issue, as people want new stuff in most cases. BBs are kinda like stems a few years back, w/everyone switching over from quill stems to threadless stems. If that is the case, I'll probably pull the cranks off my bike and stick them on my 'cross bike.

Bike Setup:
Cannondale Six13, Time Spirit seat post, Fizik Aliante saddle, FSA Pro Team Issue Crankset w/BB, FSA K-Wing bars, FSA K-Force carbon stem, full Campy Record, Campy Eurus wheelset

Summary:
These cranks came with my '04 Cannondale Six13. They have been excellent, crisp shifting, lightweight and reasonably stiff. They have gotten a little scuffed over the last year and a half but that's to be expected with carbon. As far as any other reliability issues, the cransk and bb have had no problems, yet.

Strengths:
stiffness, lightweight, attractive

Weaknesses:
none to speak off
