Price Paid:  $500.00 at Repartocorse

Favorite Ride:
Alpine Classic

Bike Setup:
Seven Alta and Look 595 with Campagnolo Record throughout

Summary:
Don't buy this crankset! The left crank arm comes loose and will not tighten regardless of what one tries. The consumer should expect no problems from what used to be top of the line cranks from FSA. I will think thrice before buying another set of cranks from FSA.

Strengths:
The carbon looks nice

Weaknesses:
Left crank arm comes loose recurrently, despite cleaning threads, and using loctite. The LBS has had a go without luck. They also tell me that this has not been a rare occurrence with this model.

Similar Products Used:
Campagnolo Record UT - flawless!

Price Paid:  $500.00

Favorite Ride:
any

Bike Setup:
2008 Cervelo R3
Dura ace, except crank
Bontrager Race XX lites

Summary:
Used this crank for less than a month and the nondrive side pedal spindle broke loose. LBS is changing under warranty but makes me wonder about FSA's products. I had an another, lower end, crank of theirs on one of my other bikes and the crank would come loose. I figured that seeing that the design was different and it was the top of the line I would have better luck..I guess not. I will wait and see if this one holds up, if not I will go a differnt direction.

Strengths:
Looks good, lite, ceramic BB.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Bike Setup:
Specialized Tarmac Pro with some upgrades here and there: wheels for example ...

Summary:
Now that they solved the problem with the left crank bolt this crankset is the best available in the market. It is also one of the most expensive $500 but it is worth it.

Strengths:
Just the best available in the market

Weaknesses:
Make sure you do not get one of the old versions with the left bolt issue as mentioned in the previous reviews.

Similar Products Used:
All of them: Sram, Shimanos, Zipp, etc. I also liked the Campagnolo Record. Dura Ace was also ok. I have Ultegra on my training road bike and it is good for a training bike.
