Strengths:    WAY stiff, WAY light, and from research, I believe they are the stiffest crankset available in their class at 550g. STiffer and lighter than Dura Ace, Force, etc.

Weaknesses:    Bottom bracket complaints from others but I'm good.
Very High Price

Bottom Line:
Amazing crankset, except they should really offer without bearings if possible. They are unbelieveably stiff when compared to FSA cranksets of the past.
They are evenly stiff when compared to Red, Force, Dura Ace, Ultegra, etc. At least as far as the average rider can tell, they are stiff as they can be... the kicker is the crankset weight of 550g. wow, that is light.
I think an MSRP of $499 or $549, whatever they'd be without bearings, would be your best bet. I haven't had bearing issues but I've heard others complain. Buy a good set of bearings and this crankset and you're good to go.

Strengths:    Light weight, very solid feeling, smooth for a little while, look hot as anything

Weaknesses:    bearings crapped out after a month and a half. retail for $730

Bottom Line:
Let me start out by saying that i was going out on a limb getting an FSA crankset. I've worked at a shop for a few years and consistently need to service fsa cranks due to creaking and shot bottom brackets. However, when buying a new frame i couldnt resist the light weight, claimed stiffness and overall sex appeal of the BB30 system.
These cranks come with ceramic bearings, which felt great for about a month and a half. I keep my bike very clean, and never get degreaser near the BB when cleaning. But for some reason the bearings now grind and creak when the cranks are slowly rotated. While it isnt yet an issue when im actually pedaling, i am pretty disappointed at the seemingly short lifespan of bearings that are supposed to be smoother for longer by design. Has anybody else had this issue?
