    Strengths:    Looks, Weight

Weaknesses:    Reliability , Lack of Customer Service and Support

    Bottom Line:
I used the Ti Version . A week after it was purchased the non driving arm became loose on a ride . Went back , had it fixed. Did the same in 2 other occasions. ( lactate and properTorque were followed as per FSA's Tech documents). Sent it back for Warranty , and got an inferior model instead!!. An FSA K force Light NON TITANIUM. Lost 250 dollars and FSA expects me to be Happy. I don't know what is worse , if the Crank or the Customer Service. Long story short , CHANGED BRANDS!!!

Strengths:    Its light at least, but not much else

Weaknesses:    The build quality is bad. Re-occuring problems are ignored by the manufacturer.

    Bottom Line:
I thought this was suppose to be a top line crankset, listed at $600. And it was great for about 4 years, and then I find as so many other have that the left crank arm pedal insert..the metal part that is bonded to the carbon are that the pedal screws into...was coming loose from the arm itself. At first I thought my pedal bearings were getting loose, so I changed pedals...same thing, and then I could see the insert was moving in relation to the arm. Crap, I screwed I'm thinking. The warrenty is 2 years, and a e-mail to FSA was not even answered. NOw I notice nobody is selling many models of FSA cranks anymore! A $600 crank set should last more then 4 years before coming unglued like that! I'm glad I found it before it failed completley out on the road, or while standing in the big ring. That would hurt! I am now replacing with all metal Ultegra. Do not but FSA products, at least the cranks!

Strengths:    Light, smooth bearing (so far) and excellent front shifting on a DA7800 drivetrain. They say that DA7900 has the best front shifting around, but shifting with this set-up is very quick and reliable.

Weaknesses:    Cost (unless you get it on a closeout), particularly the cost of the BB. I'm hoping to figure out a way of getting a Chris King BB to work with this crank. So far, no luck. You can get a Ultegra SL cankset on closeout for $99 bucks. 95% of the performance for 25% of the cost.

    Bottom Line:
I have two of these cranks (K-Force Light, not the later Ti version), both with over 1,500 miles. I've been very pleased with them, but I note that one of them was a replacement for the original K-Force crankset, which began to loosen and nothing I could do short of welding on the crankbolt could keep it together. The interface with the non-driveside arm is different on the Light version (much tighter friction fit), and I believe that the bolt itself is stronger. In any event, no problems so far.

Strengths:    for the first few hundred miles, it'll be OK. Start doing hard sprints or hill climbs, and the crank starts to creak, flex, and if you are lucky, you won't crash when the left crank arm fails.

Weaknesses:    besides the above, the shifting SUCKS on Campy Record groupos.

    Bottom Line:
if you own a nice race bike with a Campy groupo, but have this crank installed instead by the manufacturer, take it off and sell it on eBay and get a Campy Chorus or Record UT crankset instead.

Campy UT cranks are stiffer, lighter, and shift MUCH better than FSA (crap) KForce cranks.

FSA also has terrible customer service, and has been infested with quality control issues.
