Strengths: Smooth bearings
color
Stiff bottom bracket compared to the 6500 Ultegra.
Great price, could not afford Dura Ace.Weaknesses: I can see the finish wearing off.
The directions state to look for cracks on crank arms, What? Hello, don't they check them out at the factory?I checked anyway with a bright flashlight and did not see any cracks.Bottom Line: Do what their supposed to do. I have a 9 speed setup, so I was a little concerned about compatibility. The ten speed and nine speed have the same teeth spacing and setup. The bike shop mentioned I would have to change out the chain. I used the same connex ss chain with no problems. Have only put 50 miles on , but will review later.

Strengths: Shifts very wellWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: I upgraded from ultegra 6500 crankset because I needed one more crankset for another bike.
Works well, shifting definitely improved but then again my old crankset had been used for quite long and was bit weary. I can not tell any significant difference in stiffness against 6500 series (even tho it has the fancy outboard bearings and crankset itself should be stiffer on paper. Maybe it's because I don't race much and sprint even less).
Both cranksets worked well.
Overall I'm very happy and would buy it again.
We'll just have to see how well it will last but I can't imagine anything that might go wrong with this crankset (bb bearings and chainrings are just normal consumables).
