at LBS Favorite Ride: on a bike! Bike Setup: Fort RO Uno frame and fork, Surly hubs with Velocity Aerohead rims, Truvativ crank with standard GXP BB, ca. 1988 D/A single pivot brakes, Nitto bar and stem, Campy Look-style pedals. Something old, something new, something borrowed, nothing blue! Summary: I installed this on my Fort fixie as a replacement for an aging Dura-Ace road crank. I've never had an outboard bearing crank before. Installation was incredibly easy. Seal drag was really ovbious from the start, but the instructions with the GXP bottom bracket says that will go away. The difference in stiffness is really obvious from the first pedal stroke. The crank is really beefy and looks good in an industrial kind of way. The chainring is by far the roundest track ring I have ever seen. First ride was a fifty mile Saturday morning group ride. No problems to report. Strengths: -Ease of installation
-very stiff
-extremely round chainring
-very economical track crank
Weaknesses: -48T ring is the only one available
-May have to replace the Record crank on my track bike if I like the Omnium! Similar Products Used: Campy Record Pista with Pista bottom bracket
