Strengths:    Quick shifts and easy to adjust.

Weaknesses:    This may not be a weakness of the product but more user error. I overtightened the pinch bolt for the cable and managed to pull out the threads. I just retapped the hole for a larger bolt and all is well.

Bottom Line:
I like this derailleur a lot. I have it running with Force shifters and a RED crankset and the shifts are quick. I do get a slight amount of rub in the big-big combo but I'm not supposed to do that anyway.

New force cranks hard to push through PF30 BB

Just bought a new force CX1 group for my cross bike. my LBS that I trust and know does good work pressed the PF 30 BB into the frame. When I tried to mount the cranks, the spindle won't slide through the BB, maybe it needs a little persuasion? Should I just lightly tap it and see if it will go? ... Read More »
