Price Paid:  $1849.00 at Hollywood Cycle

    Favorite Ride:
    Firehouse Fifty

    Bike Setup:
    Merlin Cyrene. Eurus Wheels.

    Summary:
Purchased the CT version from Jay at Hollywood Cycles in MN. Great shop. Put on Merlin Cyrene frame with Eurus wheels.

I mainly ride for conditioning, with some road races and tris thrown in for fun.

Switched from a Chorus triple. Hills are no problem. Sweet and smooth as far a shifting goes.

    Strengths:
    Smooth shifting. Great look.

    Weaknesses:
A little spendy, but if it fits your budget why not?

    Similar Products Used:

    Price Paid:  $0.00 at Performance

    Favorite Ride:
In the Sun with the wind at my back

    Bike Setup:
    SCR with full Record,
    EC90 fork and handlebar,
    EC70 stem
    Thomson seatpost

    Summary:
Great shifting, braking, ergonomics, and funtionality. Simply the best, if you can afford it you won't regret it.

    Strengths:
They shift quickly, lightly and intuitively. Anyone who has problems with Campy shifting needs a better mechanic.
I just slapped my components on the frame, set the limits, tightened the cables and went for a ride. I stopped twice to adjust the shifting and haven't touched them in 8 months and 2600KM's. The brakes are the easiest things to install and adjust ever. The feel is very precise and luxurious. I still have Ultegra 9 which I liked, and worked well for me, but I rode my old bike last week for the first time since last year and couldn't get over how primitive it felt.
Now with DA 10 price isn't an issue.

    Weaknesses:
Harder to find, as Ferrari's are harder to find than cavaliers.
