Summary:
Used these for 2 triathlons and a handful of training rides [prolly only 200Km or so] So far so good. I like the light weight and they work fine. Clipping in can be tricky sometimes though

Summary:
I use these pedals on my touring/commuting bike and also used them on my mountain bike before I sold it. I would consider using these on all my bikes(or another Crank Bros pedal) if I already hadn't found Speedplay for my race bike. Very easy in/out, even if the eggbeater part isn't completely centered. This is the easiest engaging pedal of all the ones I've ever owned. I've never pulled out of these unintentionally (a problem I've encountered too often on my SPD pedals while trying to keep my knees comfortable).

The cleats are thin. I have shimano shoes that look like actual shoes, not cycling shoes, and the cleats stay recessed enough to where I would have no issues walking on my own wood floors with them. This allows me to use clipless pedals for loaded touring and only need to bring one pair of shoes. I also have knee issues, nothing really serious yet, thankfully, but these give me no issues. These pedals inspired me to throw away/sell my SPD pedals.

Strengths:
Reliability, no tension adjustment, easy on the knees, easy to clip in, thin cleats. They're also easy to find on sale on line.

Weaknesses:
Not race worthy for aggressive road racing, but duh. If you've already bought other SPD pedals, you will feel disappointed for not buying these first and saving money. Allen key is the only way to install/uninstall the pedals.

Summary:
I will never stray from crank brothers pedals in my life. They are double sided. They intuitively clasp with cleats. They are an attractive part that is extremely light and (seemingly) indestructible. Honestly, I cannot imagine how they would break unless left abandoned and exposed to the elements for years on end.

Strengths:
Every conceivable function.

Weaknesses:
At 90 bucks a set, they're a steal at twice the price.

Summary:
I got these for my new Van Dessel Country Road Bob, a commuter/light cyclocross single speed. I'm usually a roadie, but used to ride mountain bikes in years past. I wanted to try something new that could clear mud. I have not had problems that others complained about, mainly not knowing if you're clipped in. I feel an audible click (though not as audible as SPDs or my Look road pedals). I like the small platform that it comes with. My feet feel stable clipped in and its not easy to inadvertently unclip or slip out laterally.

Weaknesses:
None so far. I've heard the Smarty is very similar, but with cheaper and less durable construction.
