Summary:
Great pedal, but doomed to obsolescence due to misguided manufacturer policy on replacement cleats.

Strengths:
Light weight, very low profile, float has a nice feel. Long wearing steel cleats.

Weaknesses:
Ritchey USA won't release replacement cleats to the retail market or to distributors so they can focus "on new products", which means you're SOL if you want an extra set for say, your winter shoes.

However, if you ask nicely, Ritchey USA will sell you a set directly-you may fare better in the European market.

Summary:
Great pedals. Prior reviews here cover it. I'll add one point...pay special attention when installing the ritchey spd cleats....the small plate with 2 screw holes must not be installed upside down! Make sure the screws sink into the bevels properly so the screw heads are flush. Otherwise the cleat will not click into the pedal. I learned this lesson the hard way.

Strengths:
light, low profile, great price

Weaknesses:
Cannot use shimano spd cleat, very little float, be prepared to dial-in your bike setup all over again since these pedals lower your shoe right onto the spindle.

Summary:
Easily the best SPD road pedal Ritchey has come out with, and I've tried just about all of them. Easy in/out, decent tension adjustment, and durable despite its frail look. Light at 200 g's a pair, which is the same as my Keo Ti's.

The 2 Bads: (1) Can't use Shimano SPD cleats. Because this pedal puts your foot dang near on the axle, the cleat is sculpted at the edges to clear the axle. Shimano SPD's are not. If you want to use your mountain shoes for both bikes, you have to use Ritchy cleats for both. That's not too bad, except for the second bad: (2) there is no float in these pedals/cleats. Not a big deal, just make sure you get them lined up properly.

Strengths:
Light, durable, easy to use.

Weaknesses:
No float, not interchangeable with Shimano cleats.

Summary:
visually, these may be the sexiest pedals around. the minimal amount of material creates beautiful lines and a delicate appearance, but feel rock solid. they make your bike even look lighter. at 200 grams and 109 dollars, these pedals turn with value. the curved cleat design does lower your riding position...you may want to lower the saddle too (lower center of gravity is good). they clip in with ease with a very positive feeling, and clip out even easier (the best action ritchey has produced yet). the float is smooth, but my shoes tend to rock side to side parellel on the axle of the pedal, hence they feel more like mountian pedals with a little play, than a solid LOOK set-up, but being primarily a mtb racer, that doesnt bother me, so 5's across the board. overall, the best ritchey road pedal made thus far. did i mention visually stunning too?
