Strengths: Weight, easy to clip in, SPD compatible if you don't want to wear silly road shoes (ice skates).Weaknesses: Bearings won,t last more than a few months with heavy use. Inboard bearing cap comes off. No sealed bearings so you need to maintain them. Click, click, click..... is my bottom bracket shot, no it is just my pedals.Bottom Line: I have had 3 pairs of these pedals, 2 as replacements. All 3 pairs have underperformed.
