Strengths:    Lowish weight for the price at the time I purchased them.

Weaknesses:    I didn't realize how bad these pedals are until I switched them out for a set of Ultegra pedals (which cost about the same amount). As others have written, there is way too much float. The cleat design on these pedals is such that when you walk around on them, the plastic that wears off normally contacts the pedal base and so vertical play develops very quickly. I went through a set of cleats every few hundred miles. The Ultegra cleats have stubs of plastic that keep you from damaging the part of the cleat that contacts the pedals. The Ritchey cleat is also very difficult to walk on to the point of being dangerous. The first set of these that I owned failed on the first ride - the pedal pulled completely off of the pedal axle while I was accelerating. Ritchey did replace them, albeit somewhat slowly.
Lastly, the design is not user-serviceable, meaning that this is a disposable product not intended to last.

Bottom Line:
These pedals are a complete waste of money.

Bottom Line:
I was first attracted to the great price on these and first thought it was too good to be true. I should have listened to my first instinct becuase these pedals aren't worth the trouble. They have way too much play in them and the cleat fit is sloopy. I've pulled my foot out a number of times as well. Stay away from these...

Strengths:    pedal wrench not required, installs with an allen wrench

Weaknesses:    too much float can cause sport related injuries. use with caution. Also a small gap between the pedal and the crank arm. Not a snug fit.

Bottom Line:
not a good pedal. I do not understand why they put the word pro in the description. Simple set up but way too much float. Pedal is either to tight or to loose when making adjustments. Pedal caused left knee pain and at first I thought my cycling days were over and that I would need knee surgery.
