    Bike Setup:
Colnago C-40 w/ Campy Record gruppo and Mavic Cosmic Carbones (racing), Heliums (racing) or Open Pro

    Summary:
Have had Looks since I started riding and invariably had knee pain whenever I changed the cleats. Recently changed cleats and knee pain reappeared. Thus made the switch to Time, as I still wanted a platform pedal. Knee pain went away immediately. Worth the price for that alone.

    Strengths:
    - Great power transition
    - Simple cleat system eliminates constant adjustments after changing

    Weaknesses:
    - none

    Bike Setup:
    XL EV2

    Summary:
The best pedal on the market in my opinion.

    Strengths:
Great Bearing! Design Concept is excellent, even with adapter plates, the sole of the shoe is ON the axle.

    Weaknesses:
Spring tension is a bit harsh, but unclipping is predictable.

    Bike Setup:
Calfee Tetra-Custom with 700c rear and 650c front. Zipp wheels and full Dura Ace components with a Carbon X bar.

    Summary:
I've read somewhere that G. Lemond swear on this types of pedals. They're the best. I'd like to try speedplay x1's but not anymore. 5*'s on value since I feel like I've stolen this one from someone else.

    Strengths:
easy to use. lots of lateral movement which is good for my knees and other joints.

    Weaknesses:
weight. but with the new Ti's, they're decent besides, if I'm suppose to shave some weight, I'll trim my beer gut.

    Bike Setup:
Litespeed Vortex, Campi Chorus 9 speed, Rolf Wheels,
Alpha Q Fork, Easton Carbon Handlebars, Newton Stem.

    Summary:
I love these pedals. I only wish they were a little bit
lighter. I have never had a single problem with them, nor
have my knees ever hurt as a result of using them.

    Strengths:
Supports my feet with large platform, very reliable, easy
    to click out of.

    Weaknesses:
Its a little heavy but all the good pedals seem to be that way.

Price Paid:  $200.00 at Friends house

    Favorite Ride:
    Mt. Tam -Marin County

    Bike Setup:
Serotta Titanium Legend, Dura-Ace, Mavic Wheels.

    Summary:
I used Time Criteriums and Titanuim version for 5+ years. Averaging 6000 miles a year. My predominant ankle for releasing from the pedal, grinds and pops from the cartilidge being worn down by the very strong spring tension on the Time pedals.
-Switched to Speedplay X2's with no spring tension -just a simple clip.

    Strengths:
Good for cornerning, especially when grinding pavement, smooth rounded surface -no hard edges to get caught on pavement.

    Weaknesses:
The spring tension is so strong to release pedal that it has worn down cartilidge in my ankle. Also hard to step into pedals once cleats are worn.
