Summary: Moved from SPD's as I was looking for a wider road pedal as I started riding longer rides. So far I really like these and am not having near the experience the other reviewers are having. Very light, look good on the bike and are extremely easy to click into. I have gotten the cleat hung up a few times but no big deal, it's easily correctable. Pedal is also weighted so it is always in position to click into.
Strengths: Easy entry, looks great, very light, came with 2 sets of cleats; very inxpensive
Weaknesses: A little trouble clicking out

Summary: the only good thing this pedal shares with look is that they both have 3 holes, other than that its a piece of junk. Unclipping is not as smooth as Look's and requires considerable force to outwardly twist your foot to disengage. The front part of the cleat frequently got stuck even after disengaging the rear section.
Strengths: cheap price
Weaknesses: unclipping

Summary: These have to be the worst pedals ever made. Wellgo essentially pirated LOOK's pedal design and made a cheap and grossly inferior product. Even with the pedals adjusted to the lowest setting for disengaging the cleats it is still VERY difficult to clip out. The cleat design is horrible. Just when you think that you have clipped out, it is still engaged and requires a serious outward thrust with your ankle to get unclipped. I used them on a dozen rides and I thought that maybe they required a breakin period but clipping out didn't get any easier. It's an awful product and if the pedals didn't come as a freebie with the bike I would be fuming mad with the LBS. And actually I still am. So the best way I can summarize these pedals is: They are crap and don't use them even if they are free!!
Strengths: NONE
Weaknesses: Don't use these pedals even if they are free!!!

Bike Setup: learsport 8000, ritchey stem, seatpost, shimano 540's and 105 equipment, polar s720i hrm
Summary: These are similar in setup to look pedals. They have a black non floating cleat/red 3 degree float option. A adjustable release tension screw exists on these pedals. The pedals are lighter than my previous look PP196's.
Strengths: adjustable tension, slim look, came with bike
Weaknesses: not compatable with look
pedals cleats "click" when applying power when taking off from lights
release tension needs to be near max to prevent pulling out of pedal when accelerating strongly
