| | Bike Setup: Bianchi Veloce Summary: Keep it clean, lubed and check that it reaches all the cogs, and it works great. It does not like the extreme positions, and will let you know with some chain chatter. This is probably good, as this position causes excesive wear on drive train. Strengths: Looks good. Built to last. Inexpensive introduction to Campagnolo. Weaknesses: I had a random problem getting the derailler tuned in after I first got my bike. Every so often it would not get into the smallest cog very easily when in the big chainring. (chatter, then after several pedal strokes, it finally would shift). This probably would be a minor fix for a bike mechanic. Being a McGyver type, I ended up putting in a thin shim between the stay and the derailer to get the derailleur to reach the small cog (the adjustment screw was maxed out). It now works perfect.
