Force, Raleigh Prestige Frame, 15.2 lbs bullet! Summary:
I got the Force Derailleur as part of a used Force Group, it had 2000 miles on it, after a good clean and re-grease the parts ran like new. I have about 600 miles on it and it runs as good as on the first day i mounted it. Not as flashy as Red but it appears to be more robust and durable, fast shifts, my buddies new Red gave up after only 6 months! Are 35grams difference worth the pain? I don't believe ceramic pulleys make you faster, training more will do for sure. Strengths:
easy to service, easy trim, Weaknesses:
clamping down the cable is not too user friendly, shifts are not as smooth as with DA 7800, chain can rub on inner metal plate if chainline is messed up Similar Products Used:
