Favorite Ride:
Fast and rolling

Summary:
Good fork... Stable, tracks well, and is stiff. I'm a strong sprinter, and felt no flex during hard out-of-the-saddle attacks. Aero shape is effective, and saves precious energy on fast flat or rolling terrain. Does a good job sucking up road static... Doesn't beat you up over long rides. Reasonably lightweight, mine weighed 371g uncut, and 344g cut, with roughly 220mm of steerer left. I really like the glue-in metal insert with internal starnut. Makes me feel safer, and when coupled with a lightweight carbon topcap and alloy bolt, is lighter than most expander setups... Not as light as a Tune Gum Gum or Extralite UltraStar setup, but those don't prevent crushing from overtight stems, nor allow you to get the headset as tight as easily. The black gloss finish is beautiful, looks great with the newer unidirectional top-layer carbon frames being made.

Strengths:
Stiff, aero, stable ride, tracks well, good vibration dampening, fairly light. Glue-in insert.

Weaknesses:
No 45 degree rake option. Only 43, 49, and 53... This kind of sucks, as many frames have OEM forks with rakes of 45. Although 3T says a traditional expended device is okay, if you do opt to use the included glue-in insert, this limits the amount you can cut the form down later... So be sure before you glue!

Similar Products Used:
Look HSC-4, Look HSC-5 SL, Easton EC90 SL, Alpha-Q GS-20, numerous OEM forks.
