Strengths: Strong and looks very cool. has disc brake mountsWeaknesses: a bit heavier than a normal carbon road forkBottom Line: This is a very solid & nicely built fork, not for a road race purist as it is quite chunky but perfect for a rapid commuter bike or for a cross country racer or even as a rigid fork on your winter MTB (with narrow tyres). The fork is a bit flexy which means it does a fantastic job at absorbing road shake and potholes. The flex doesn't affect the performance as it's very responsive while still beeing smooth
Favorite Ride: gary fisher mendota

Strengths: looks cool....thats about it.Weaknesses: FLEXY FLEXY FLEXY!!! The flex in it is very noticable while pulling 50 lbs of kids in my Burley trailer.Bottom Line: I have had a lot of Bontrager products in the past and have no problems, but this fork i]has been a BIG downer for me. VERY flexy! This is stock on My '09 Fisher Mendota, I'm glad this wasn't something I purchased thinking it would be an upgrade.
Similar Products Used: I rode a Trek 7.5 FX and it's carbon fork was solid, as is my carbon fork on my Trek 5200.
Bike Setup: 2009 Fisher Mendota, stock bike for commuting, pulling kids in a Burley, running to the grocery store.
